Caelum’s Landing University, or CLU, is the largest educational institution in the Relief. Its main campus on Fundus is large enough to warrant a district of its own. Here you can take crash courses to learn new spells, gain new skills and new tool proficiencies. Or, if you wish to carve out a different path for yourself, you may enrol at the university and learn all the essential skills you need to make a fresh start. The university’s famous library and observatory are always open to the public. Adventurers looking to travel to nearby earthmotes may visit the Glider Proficiency Centre, where they must pass an assessment before they are given a glider of their own.
Glider Proficiency Centre
Those wishing to explore the skies without the aid of public transportation may visit Caelum’s Landing University in order to gain their glider proficiency. Gliders are the simplest and cheapest way to traverse the skies between earthmotes, and are as commonplace as the humble bicycle. They come in single and two-seat variants. Some larger gliders even come equipped with resonance engines to travel longer distances.
Warning
A word to the wise: most personal gliders are not built to handle strong winds and stormy weather. I strongly recommend hiring an airship for more taxing journeys.
