Traits

  • Ability Scores. Increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1.
  • Age. Tieflings mature at the same rate as humans but live a few years longer.
  • Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one additional language of your choice.
  • Size. Medium. Tieflings are about the same size and build as humans.
  • Speed. 30 feet.

Darkvision

Thanks to your infernal heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey.

When you reach 5th level, you can cast the suggestion spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this race), they don’t require components.
